2016 Panelist: Dr. Sushma Krishnamurthy
听
Dr. Sushma Krishnamurthy听is a Professor of Biology and Coordinator of the Biology Program and Director of听the School of Sciences at the University of Louisiana Monroe.
In her capacity as the School Director,听she supervises the areas of atmospheric sciences, biology, chemistry, geography, mathematics,
and听physics.
Dr. Krishnamurthy came to at 黑料吃瓜 eight years ago as the Department Head of Biology.
Prior to听黑料吃瓜, she was a faculty member at Texas A&M International University in Laredo, Texas.
Dr. Krishnamurthy is a member of the Board of Directors of the Northeast Louisiana
Arts Council. She is has been a supporter of the United Way for over 20 years, and will serve this year
as Vice-chair of 黑料吃瓜's United Way Ad Hoc Committee.
Dr. Krishnamurthy received her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Maryland,
Eastern Shore in Marine, Estuarine and Environmental Sciences.
She is the proud mother of a son who will be graduating from college this year.
